2008 News Updates

December 30, 2008 - Federal and County Proof of Labor/Affidavit of Assessment due.

December 17, 2008 - Advanced Geologic and their contracted engineers conducted an onsite meeting with the California Regional Water Quality Control board for Blue Lead Gold Mining company's mine waste characterization, erosion prevention plan and slope stability. These are key requirements in their steps for obtaining County and State permits to operate the mine.

November 2, 2008 - Advanced Geologic locates 600 acres of placer mining claims on Spanish Creek near Keddie (Oro Grande, Montana de Oro and Rio de Oro). This was a huge discovery and these claims extremely valuable because of the large gold potential.

October 31, 2008 - Advanced Geologic's Wolf Creek mining project concludes with reclamation of exploratory excavations. Just in time too, as the weekend brought heavy rains and snow to the region.

October 16, 2008 - Advanced Geologic performs a site visit of the Blue Lead Gold Mine in Nevada County to inspect and install erosion prevention measures for the upcoming winter season.

October 16, 2008 - Advanced Geologic performs a site reconnaissance of a property in the Forest Hill area for the Golden Riffle Mining Company.

October 8, 2008 - Advanced Geologic has had a very successful summer with many highlights and rewards. As time permits, various projects will be described and news announced.

October 1-4, 2008 - Chief Geologist Charles Watson evaluates the Carter Raymond and Lucky Strike lode mines in Gunnison County Co. Quartz veins in preCambrian granite contain up to 2-11 oz Au/t. Economic Potential Report reports huge gold reserves. Investor information available.

September 30, 2008 - End of Plumas County 2008 Mineral Year and the beginning of the 2009 Mineral Year. Proof of Labor/Affidavit of Assessment due.

September 5, 2008 - Golden Girl mining Company spins off their mine in Nevada County to Blue Lead Gold Mining, LLC. Advanced Geologic is retained to complete the permitting and code compliance issues for the mine.

September 1, 2008 - End of Federal Mineral 2008 Year, beginning of 2009 year. Maintenance fees due.

February 21, 2008 - At 6:16 a.m. on February 21, a M 6.0 earthquake occurred in northeastern Nevada near the small rural town of Wells. Chief Geologist Charles Watson was on the ground that afternoon looking for geological effects and physical damage from the earthquake. Although no geological effects were observed, damage to the unreinforced brick buildings in historic old town Wells suffered substantial damage. Charles was able to tour the damage well before the public had access back into town and obtained several photographs. Observations of damage from large earthquakes is important to help people and communities prepare for their next big earthquake.

February 15, 2008 - Advanced Geologic file documents for two new placer gold claims on Spanish Creek (Spanish Gold #2 - 80 ac. and Golden Nuggets #12 - 80 ac.).

February 12, 2008 - Advanced Geologic file documents for a new placer gold claim on the Middle Fork, Feather River (Golden Serpent 1- 40 ac.).

January 24, 2008 - Golden Girl Mining Company retains Advanced Geologic to assist them with the permitting and compliance issues at their Golden Girl Placer Mine near Nevada City. The property is a patented mine located in the Red Dog mining district of Nevada County. It was the site of extensive hydraulic mining of the thick Tertiary gravel deposits, however, mining ceased in the mid 1930s leaving behind vast amounts of the gravels still unmined, including large amounts of the rich "Blue Lead". Golden Girl has requested that Advanced Geologic act as a liaison for all appropriate permits, including the Plan of Operation and Reclamation Plan, as well as handling compliance issues related to previous activities and future operations. Golden Girl Mining Company is a junior gold mining company actively acquiring and selling mining properties, as well as harvesting the resources from selected properties.
