Take a look at our Claim Sale page and view the list of claims that are on sale!!! November 5, 2012 - Rained last week and put the snow elevation back up above 6,500 feet, lower on the north side of the hill and in the shadows. Been warm the last few days and the frorecast is for more of the same until Thursday night, when a slight chance of rain is expected. The roads are a bit muddy and some of the puddles are still deep. Use caution when in the mountains this time of year. Make sure you have a 4x4 with good tires, a chainsaw, tow rope/chain, shovels and extra food and water. The nights are cold and below freezing in most places. The Forest Service lifted the campfire ban two weeks ago, but you will still need a burn permit. There is still plenty of time for gold prospecting. So put down the remote and get off the couch, grab your pick and shcvel and GO!! October 26, 2012 - It's that time of season!! Gold Rush, on the Discovery Channel, begins its new season!! Click on the link to check out date and times it will air! October 25, 2012 - The staff at Advanced Geologic is excited to announce the staking of two new claims!! They are the Liz Talyor and the Rich Burton on Burton Gulch. Burton Gulch lies in the Meadow Valley District and has a vast history of prospectors finding very chunky gold!! These two claims won't last long so contact our office today and we can help you add these abundant claims to your portfolio!! October 24, 2012 - The snow has arrived! The snow elevation is around 4,500 feet but that seems to melt off fairly quickly. Above 5,000 feet, the snow is sticking and has accumulated 4-8 inches. We are not sure of the higher elevations totals. So, if your claim is at these elevations, please take note that roads my be closed or access could be limited. The weather is suppose to warm up over the weekend, but another storm is due the following week. October 22, 2012 - With gold prices on the rise so is the sale of our claims! In just a short amount of time Advanced Geologic has sold four claims! One of those claims was in the Seneca District where the Chips Fire had gone through. Our client understood that the fire can burn old tree roots creating new access to unmined deposits. In fact, on his first day out, he recovered a 1/2 peanut-sized chunk! AGE still has five more claims in that area: Clearly Rich #1 & #2, Pliocene Placer, Salmon Creek Camp, Sourdough Placer, and the Two Waters. These are in known gold-bearing areas and with our "Fire Sale" prices, shall be thoroughly rewarding! October 9, 2012 - Advanced Geologic will be performing a reconnaissance evaluation mine project in northwestern Arizona the balance of the week. The Captain and his amazing first mate will head out today to spend three days at the mine site to assess ore grade and reserves potentials. The tasks include 1) assessing previous info, 2) property status, 3) a property recon, 4) obtaining representative duplicate samples of previously sampled rocks, 5) assessing potential ore reserves, and 6) documenting the results. Given the client's rush schedule, Advanced Geologic will throw all the staff at the project so it is done accurately and on time! This is what we do best!!!! October 8, 2012 - Another exciting day for the AGE crew. We received our renewed Arizona State Land Mineral Lease for our Italian Wash Package. The Italian Wash is one of the richest drainages in Western Arizona. These are "Big Boy!" mining claims where the miner needs to move at least 400 yards per day. With the Arizona State Mineral Lease, Advanced Geologic is permitted to disturb up to 5 acres of the surface while protecting any sensitive vegetation. There is no maximum yardage limit, so considering 1.5 acres for the processing plant, this leaves 3.5 acres available for mineral recovery. At 20 feet deep in a alluvial wash, which is rather conservative, this means 170,000 yards can be mined. At a conservative value of 60 yards per ounce, that recovers 2,888 ounces of gold!! If you have the passion for mining and have the financial capability, you should call us today and let's go mining!! October 8, 2012 - With rain and snow on the way, AGE would like to remind our fellow claim owners to prepare for the coming season. Begin your Reclamation Plans, fill in any holes on your claim, spread native vegetation on any disturbed area, and most important, stay warm out there! Until next time.... Happy Prospecting! September 26, 2012 - Advanced Geologic just renewed our membership with the Chester Boosters Club. Look for our banner at Chester High School! Go Volcanoes!!! Among Chester Boosters, AGE is an active participant in donating to Chester's T-Ball, and other local charity needs. August 31, 2012 - Even though fall is approaching, now is the best time to buy a claim! Creeks have slowed allowing easy access into them. Advanced Geologic just sold Sacketts Gulch Mine in Sierra county!! Sierra county is known through out California for its rich history of gold and Advanced Geologic still has one left in that area!! Click on the link to check out the claim Eureka!! located on Eureka Creek and view more information about this claim. This could be some fortunate prospectors chance to holler out their own EUREKA!! August 24, 2012 - As part of the great service provided by Advanced Geologic, today we filed the last of their client's annual filings with the BLM. August 15, 2012 - Chips Fire, Plumas County. For current information go to: http://inciweb.org/incident/3052/ and http://www.kolotv.com/californianews/headlines/Chips-Fire-Burning-More-than-42000-Acres-20-Percent-Containment-166283096.html. As of this date, the fire has consumed 42,215 acres of Plumas and Lassen National Forests. Road closures include: The Caribou Road from the junction of Highway 70 to Butt Lake Dam as well the Butt Lake Dam, Ohio Valley Road, Butt Lake Road, Humbug/Humboldt and all additional secondary roads West of Highway 89 between Canyondam and the Humbug/Humboldt Road. Mandatory evacuation notices are in effect for the communities of Seneca, Rush Creek and Ohio Valley. A voluntary evacuation is in place for Canyon Dam, Big Meadow, and Rocky Point. A Sheriff's advisory is in effect for West Almanor, Almanor, and Prattville. Butt Valley Reservoir recreation facilities administered by PG&E (Ponderosa Flat Campground, Cool Springs Campground, Ray Adams Day Use Area and Boat Launch), as well as Yellow Creek Campground and Rocky Pioint Campground are closed due to the fire. Gansner Bar, North Fork, and Queen Lily USFS campgrounds remain closed. The Little Grizzly dispersed camping area and High Lakes OHV area, are also closed. Any wildfire is devastating to the environment but there are benefits to mining claims! Vegetation loss enhances access and promotes erosion which brings gold down from the hillsides and deposits it into the drainages! Dozer cuts made by fire fighters provides ground disturbance and access to buried treasure! Check out these claims in the burn area and click on the links for FIRE SALE prices! Red Rock Mine & Red Rock Mine Extension, Pliocene Placer, Clearly Rich #1 & #2, Salmon Run Placer, Salmon Creek Camp, The Revolution, Independence, Liberty, Justice, Sourdough Placer, and Two Waters. August 1, 2012 - Regarding BLM annual filing fees: New BLM annual maintenance fees are being imposed for the 2013 mineral year. The new maintenance fee is $140 per 20 acres, per claim. For example, if your claim is 60 acres, the maintenance fee to the BLM is $420! Outrageous! However, if you are filing the Small Miner Waiver, or you subscribe to Advanced Geologic's annual filing service, and perform labor and improvements on your claim, there is no change in the fees from last year. If you would like to subscribe to our filing service, give us a call, we take care of all the paperwork and filings so you don't need to worry about it! July 16, 2012 - Advanced Geologic's website was hacked last week and was causing errors, redirects or was just not working. We have fixed the problem and apologize for the inconvenience. June 12, 2012 - The team at Advanced Geologic has successfully helped a client obtain an exploration and testing permit in the state of New Mexico. The process took a year and a half to complete but with the diligence of the AGE crew the permit was granted and now the client gets to set forth on his mining adventure! June 12, 2012 - Update on Section Dredging: A hearing regarding the section dredging cases for AB670 and SB120, will be held on June 28, 2012. This is not a decision hearing. It is only to decide whether the cases will be held in Oakland or San Bernadino. June 8, 2012 - The cracker-jack research staff of Advanced Geologic has recently secured another set of claims in the Johnsville Mining District near Graeagle, California. The famous Squirrel Creek Mine is a glacial placer deposit located on, obviously, Squirrel Creek. On June 8, Chief Geologist Charles Watson reviewed the site and was stunned with the amount of previous workings that had been performed, but also just how much native, unworked material was left. This new 200-acre claim set is not for the faint at heart or novice prospector. This is a serious mining opportunity for serious miners that want to get serious gold. Charles is planning on mining the property later this year once the Plan of Operations (POO) Exploration and Testing permit is approved. We are hopeful to submit the application later this upcoming week. You can either purchase the property now or become a Joint Venture Partner with Advanced Geologic. This is a "roll up the sleeves and go mining" opportunity. We are sure you will be hear more about this project in the near future. June 5, 2012 - Jessie Brent returns! Yay!!! Advanced Geologic is now back with staff to assist you Monday through Friday. June 1, 2012 - Advanced Geologic has completed adding a dozen new mining claims to their California placer mining claim list. Each have a wide variety of characteristics that offer the miner and prospector different opportunities. For example, the Discovery claim on Eureka is on the discovery creek for the Johnsville Mining District. Chief Geologist Charles Watson has been there a half dozen times taking multiple samples and every pan has recovered gold; the Cascade Placer claim on Cascade Creek offers large-volume processing opportunities of a Tertiary river gravel deposit; The Gold Mill on Mill Creek secures a rich deposit that seems to have been forgotten for more than a hundred years; and five new sites have been claimed in the famous Seneca Mining District. These are down slope from what is commonly referred to as the "Golden Triangle" and all have great gold opportunities. If you want to go mining this year, check-out these new areas. May 23, 2012 - After a short break for school and personal business, our long time office manager Christina Dunker was rehired. Woot!! Woot!! Jessie Brent will be taking a few weeks off to take care of her son who broke is leg last week. Christina will be conducting all the office managerial tasks on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. When Jessie returns, she will handle the tasks on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and will be rotated into field work on the exploration and testing projects. The Advanced Geologic family is all back together again! Yay!!!! May 8, 2012 - On May 11-13 Advanced Geologic will be heading to Placerville for the 2012 Gold Prospecting and Mining Summit. We had a booth at the show last year and we are all very excited to be attending and participating again this year! This event is fun for all ages and for all experience levels. For more information visit icmj.com and view show times, vendors, and guest speakers. Our very own Chief Geologist Charles Watson will be speaking on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. on mining rules and regulations. You don't want to miss this! May 6, 2012 - Chief Geologist Charles Watson and Linda Peterson attempted to get into their Jamison Creek Claims. They took the road that leads out of the Eureka State Park and made it to about 5660' elevation, but the road was still blocked by snow and a fallen log. Check out some of the new photos from their trip. May 5, 2012 - Chief Geologist Charles Watson and Linda Peterson toured their new Whitlock Ravine Placer claim. The creek drains the rich Tertiary gravels associated with the Gopher Hill Mine, a famous hydraulic mine just a few miles west of Quincy. Even at this time of year, there was little water in the headwaters but as they went down slope, the creek was flowing quite well. They hiked almost to the confluence with Spanish Creek where the creek had been flowing on bedrock for quite some ways. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who are not afraid of a little hike to get to the gold! Check out our new photos of the claim. March 28, 2012 - Within the past two weeks Advanced Geologic has successfully sold four claims along Little Grizzly Creek, Yellow Creek, Boulder Creek, and Moonlight Creek. While we do not have anymore claims for sale on Yellow Creek or Boulder Creek we still have one claim on Little Grizzly Creek and one claim on Moonlight Creek for sale. Both creeks have abounding historical mining histories, are easily accessible, and fun for the whole family! Click on the links to view pictures, maps, and information on each claim or contact our office for more details. March 26, 2012 - With spring approaching and creeks flowing, Advanced Geologic Exploration has staked new claims in Plumas County along Fells Creek, Cascade Creek, Lower Rush Creek, and Mill Creek. Although these claims are more on the advanced side they sit in VERY rich drainages and are sure to give a lucky new claim owner a chance to go for the GOLD!! Contact our office today for more information on these prosperous claims. March 23, 2012 - Snow report: Many of our claims are still accessible even though it is the middle of March. Lights Creek is completly open and accessible as well as any of our claims that are below 4,000 feet elevation. Snow is thin through the 4,500-5,000 foot elevation and there is some snow coverage above the 5,000 feet but some can still be accessed in a four-wheel drive vehicle. So if your looking to purchase a claim a large variety of our claims can still be accessed. Contact us and we can inform you on which ones to go see!! March 23, 2012 - Advanced Geologic has staked some exciting claims in the Seneca Mining District along the Pliocene Creek, Clear Creek, and Salmon Creek. These creeks have a rich history of gold mining and there is plenty that has yet to be recovered. Contact our office, for these claims are in a very rich area and won't last long! January 4, 2012 - Happy New Years to all! To kick off the new year, the staff here at Advanced Geologic helped one of our clients successfully obtain his Plan of Operations permit. We wish him all the luck as he begins the next phase on his claim! |
