2017 News Updates


October 18, 2017 - Advanced Geologic has two new claims for sale which are also this weeks featured claims. They are the Grizzly Canyon and Little Grizzly Bar on Little Grizzly Creek in Plumas County. Both claims have easy 2 wheel drive access which would be ideal if a trailer was brought in. This would be a great spot to bring the whole family and spend time on those sunny days digging around awaiting the next big find! 

October 17, 2017 - Well it looks as if things are finally starting to move forward with suction dredging. A determination will be made in the spring of 2018 on the regulations of the ban. Below is the link from the Water Board.

October 11, 2017 -Winter is just around the corner so now is the time to get out while the roads are still clear to wrap your claim up before the snow sets in. Getting camp cleaned up and holes filled in are just a few examples of what to do to prepare for the upcoming winter months. That way when spring rolls around your claim is all ready for you to get started. This is also the time to get that permit going if broadening your mining level is your next step.

And don't let the snow stop you from purchasing or staking a new claim. Advanced Geologic has snowmobiles that allows the crew to get out and get the job done through out the winter months. Hesitating in the slightest can cause you to miss out on an opportunity and the staff is here to make sure that doesn't happen. Need a claim staked and papered in February? Not a problem!!

September 5, 2017 - This weeks featured claims are the Merlot Placer & Zinfandel Placer in Sierra County out in Pats Gulch. As mentioned in recent posts these claims are located in a very popular historical district and made history with its very successful gold recovery. Since these two are adjoining we are offering them at a discount if purchased together. 
There are also some great Fall specials going on as well with selected claims. Nice weather is still upon us so there is still time to get out and do some digging!

August 31, 2017 -Advanced Geologic has staked two new exciting claims in Sierra County. They are called the Merlot Placer and Zinfandel Placer and are located in Pats Gulch in the historic Port Wine mining district. This area has a very rich history of gold mining and is still proving to this day there is much more to be recovered. They both have good access, areas to set up camp, and are close to the small town of La Porte which has lodging and a small general store. Don't hesitate on these two because chances are they won't last long!! Contact our office today! 

August 22, 2017 -This weeks featured claim is a can't miss! It is the Bailey's and Bushmill's in Lyon County in Nevada. They have been drastically reduced and are ready to go. Both claims have reconnaissance sampling along with a certificate from ALS Minerals. For the miner who wants to get out and get that gold these are the way to go! August 7, 2017 - Advanced Geologic has a new featured claim called the Ice House #1 on Coldwater Creek in Plumas County. This claim has slow flowing current so getting and digging around will be easier. It also has 2wd access on the forest service road along with areas to set up camp. July 26, 2017 - Advanced Geologic has a new claim for sale on Jamison Creek called Jamison Reserve in Plumas County. With 4 wheel drive there is access right up to the creek making any traffic minimal. There is also spots right along the creek to set up camp. The water runs shallow so it would be a great place to throw in a sluice. This claim has a lot to offer but most importantly GOLD!! Call our office today for more information.

July 11, 2017 -Tomorrow is the scheduled date for the suction dredge hearing here in California. There is not much information at this time but we will be feverishly checking for updates tomorrow and as soon as we have any news we will be updating. Keep checking back and keep your fingers crossed!!

July 6, 2017 -Advanced Geologic has two new claims for sale on the South Fork of the Feather River in Plumas County called the Independent Mine and Stars and Stripes. May 10, 2017 -Advanced Geologic has two new claims out on Rush Creek in Plumas County called the Providence Hill Mine and Providence Hill Extension. The Providence Hill Mine has a campsite on the claim with an established trail down to the creek. It is also home to a historical mine site. April 12, 2017 - This weeks featured claim is located only a few miles outside of the town of Graeagle in Plumas County. It is called Frazier Creek Placer out on Frazier Creek. It lies within the historical Johnsville Mining District and has proven to have had an abundant amount of coarse gold recovered. But don't let that make you think it was all found! March 27, 2017 - This weeks featured claim is Advanced Geologic's prized Jamison Creek Mine on Jamison Creek in Plumas County. It lies in the Johnsville Mining District which is widely known for its gold history. The claim also has 2 wheel drive access and a nice place to set up camp making this a fun opportunity for the whole family!!

March 14, 2017 -This weeks featured claims are the Victory Bar and Yellow Creek Bar on Yellow Creek in Plumas County. These two claims are on a historically known gold bearing creek and has easy access and a superb campsite. Don't hesitate to snag these up because the sale won't last long!!

February 23, 2017 -The featured claim for this week is the prized Lucky Jack and Chase Angel Mines out on Big Creek in Plumas County. In 2012 the crew at Advanced Geologic had an exploration permit approved for these two claims and with a backhoe and trommel produced excellent results. There is a current 2016-2017 approved permit in place so the claims are ready to work!! This area has great access along the Big Creek Highway along with spacious camping right on the claim. It is near Quincy which has many amenities including lodging, gas, food, and of course places to stop in at and grab a cold drink. The price for these claims have been reduced for only a short time so don't hesitate!!

January 18, 2017 -Advanced Geologic is having a BIG sale out on Big Creek in Plumas County. All the Big Creek claims prices have been slashed. The crew here at AGE has done exploration testing out in that area and there was excellent results! Nearby is Bucks Lake which has a restaurant and bar so after a long day of mining it's a great place to go relax with some hot food and a cold drink.
